Then there was June...

June has been so busy, and I didn't take a lot of pictures.

We had a lot of visitors in town, and Val and I left town (that's on the next post!).

Emma took summer school on Tuesdays, Wendsdays, Thursdays.

Both kids took swimming lessons and did Awesome.

Madison got really sick (with Hand, Foot, Mouth), but thankfully it passed quickly.

This is the cupboard where we keep kid cups. I can't keep this kid out of anything.

Both kids spent a lot of time collecting, and killing bugs.

Madison spends a lot of time climbing on things.

Emma loves to make faces, and has very strong emotions.

Madison also has very strong emotions. This is her wanting the camera. You would think something serious was wrong.

Val and Emma went to the Air show June 6 and 7.

They went with our friends Brian and Timothy the first day.

Phoenix, here and there...

We spent most of the month of June with our friends from Phoenix.

First, our friends Darin and Sidney Hufford came to stay with us for 4 days.

Although I didn't get a lot of pictures, we did a lot of fun things.

Emma and Sidney have the same Pajamas, in different colors.

They both wore them every night. Emma LOVES Sidney, and had such a great time with her.

Darin and Sidney left early in the morning,
so Sidney left Emma a note to find when she woke up.
When Emma woke up she sobbed because Sidney was gone.

The Miglio family was also in town, they stayed in Eagle Mt.
We didn't get to see much of them, so Danielle came back in town a week later.
Somehow I didn't get any more pictures.


Then, we went to Phoenix to visit our friends for our Anniversary.
We left the kids at home for 5 Days!
It was SO great to get away.

On the way down we stopped for a hike at horseshoe point.

This is the view.

I was terrified of heights, which hasn't been a problem for me for years.

But when I got near the edge it made me really dizzy, so I didn't get too close.

Val got WAY to close!

While in Phoenix, we got the opportunity to record a podcast with Darin.

I wanted to include this picture, because Darin is wearing those goofy headphones.

hahaha!

The podcast was with

me, Danielle Miglio, Stacy Robbins, and Darin.

We also got to see Chuck and Holly Mills. This is their daughter Sierra.

We haven't seen them for about 4 years!

We had SO MUCH FUN!

Preschool Program

Emma graduated from Preschool on May 29, 2009.

They had a program and graduation ceramony.

As I sort through pictures wondering what to put on the blog, and feeling a little behind, I decided to cover the randomness of our lives in months...

Picnics in the Yard...

The unseasonable cold weather made the tulips bloom in May this year.

Emma was so excited about the flowers, she spent a lot of time taking pictures of them.

Dance Recital

Emma had a ballet recital today, the kids danced to the music from the movie "Enchanted".
She danced so well, and we were all so proud of her.

This is all of the little dancers. Some of the kids went to school with Emma this past year, so it has been so fun for her to be in dance with her "friends".

New Pool

Emma came home from school a couple weeks ago to find that she had a new pool.

I decided not to include her in the decision making process

because I wasn't sure I could be supportive of her choices.

They played so good together

And both took turns going down the slide.


Until Madison got bored and went to ram the Jeep into the fence.

Also, these are great pictures of Emma's new hair cut. I forgot to take a camera to Cookie Cutters where she insisted on getting it cut, so here is the scoop on the hair...

Emma wanted hair long as Repunzel, until it came to washing or brushing it, then she would cry every time. So one day I told her that in order to have Repunzel hair she would have to learn to get her hair washed and brushed because the longer the hair, the long it will take. She decided to get her hair cut that day. I waited several weeks to make sure, but almost daily she would ask if today was the day for her hair cut. She looks adorable, and everyone in the family likes it. Daddy likes it because it makes her look younger, Mommy thinks it's easier to take care of, and Emma thinks it doesn't hurt so bad!

Emma and Madison cousins came to visit from Las Vegas. I tried to get them all to stand nicely for a picture, but my kids wouldn't stand still.
And then Madison took off, oh well!
