What is new for the Tanners...

Well, it has been brought to my attention that I haven't been updating this much lately, so although there isn't a lot of fun things going on, I will write a bit about what has been happening at the Tanner house in 2009.

1. We are remodeling our basement...
It is an entire gut and redo job. I am very, very excited, and wish it would go faster. Although I shouldn't complain because Val is working really hard, almost every day. It really has come a long way so far. I just can't wait for the fun part, which is paint, trim, stair rails, furniture, etc. We are getting close to having it taped and mudded, so we are close to the fun part now. I have taken a few pictures, but really don't want to put stuff on until it is done. So watch for that later this year.

2. Momma just started her new job...
And I really love it so far. It has been a bit challenging trying to stay awake a work, and not overdo the caffine so much that I can't sleep at night. (That is why I am writting this blog at 1:30 in the morning.) For anyone who doesn't know, I am working at the post office coding center. After training I will sit at a desk and type addresses. When I get my speed up I will be able to listen to books on tape. I like leaving and doing something else besides kids. I never thought I would say that, but this is where I need to be for now. (It will also help pay for the trip to Disneyland I want to take Emma on!)

3. Emma started Dance...
Her Grammie Toni gave her dance classes for Christmas (well money that she used for Dance class), and she loves it. She is so cute and is doing so well. I don't have pictures right now, but I will take some soon.

4. Madison is walking, and almost running...
This has really been good. It seems like the girls play togeather so much better since Madison started walking. She started the week after Chris' baby was born. She was about 13 months.

5. We are so excited for the warmer weather...
I am excited to get out in the garden again, and watch the kids play in the yard. This warmer past couple weeks makes me yearn for summer!

Well, as you can see, we are busy, but there isn't a whole lot going on. I have been feeling very content, even in the caos. I am so blessed to have such a great family!
