Birthday Party

Emma had her 4th birthday party with her friends on Thursday from 11:00-1:00.

I really wanted to go to a party place for her birthday, but all Emma wanted to do was decorate cookies with her friends. She invited 11 kids, and 8 were able to come, so we had a house full of preschoolers. I was so glad that some of the parents were there, and that Val was able to come home during the party.

Everyone had so much fun. It was relaxing. The kids played well, and had a great time.

All those Girls...

Sunday afternoon we spent the day at Grammie Toni's house. She is moving to California next weekend, so the whole family went up there to spend the day togeather. We had a great time helping her get ready to go, and hanging out togeather. All of Toni's grandchildren are girls, and there are about 10 (I don't even know for sure). I didn't get a lot of pictures, but I sent Bia out with the camera to get pictures of the kids, and this is what she came back with. The kids had a great time. Emma loves Hannah, who always takes such good care of her, and the kids really get along great togeather.

Emma's Birthday Jeep

Here is Emma waiting for her birthday present. She is closing her eyes really tight. She is into telling people to close their eyes so she can surprise them, even if the surprise is that she brushed her teeth.

When Emma first opened her eyes she just stood there and stared. Not the jumping up and down reaction that I was thinking would take place!











She does love her new jeep.

She said she wanted a purple two seater, but I think her biggest problem is that she is nervous to drive it because she hasn't mastered the stearing yet. She does get more comfortable the more she is in it.

I was sure we wouldn't see Emma the rest of the day because she would be in her Jeep, but she only rode it around for about 15 minutes, and then wanted her turn in the swing.

Kendon's 5th Birthday Party!

Emma's friend Kendon had his 5th Birthday at Classic Skating.

But who knew that Classic Skating also has this great climbing gym, and 8 large inflatables.

Kendon is a great friend of Emma's.

When they play they rarely fight, and always want to play longer.
